Are you familiar with the Flintstones? Are you aware that in the past it was an adult show? Well, it’s true. It was just turned into a children’s show later on. Before all of that, the Flintstones was used by Winston cigarettes to endorse their products in the year 1964. With Fred and Barney smoking a stick, who wouldn’t want to get one? It was a good move for Winston.
Unfortunately, with its transformation as a cartoon for the kids, the commercial ceased to be aired. Nonetheless, it continued to advertise different products which are, thankfully, good for the eyes of children such as vitamins.
